Last August, I had a photoshoot in Austria with Anne, along with my three Salukis. It was my first road trip, and I wanted to capture this wonderful adventure in the country I've been visiting for 30 years.
The day started with bad weather: rain, hail, thunderstorms, and strong winds. Anne and I stayed in close contact, knowing that the weather in Austria can change quickly, so we held out hope. Just before the shoot began, the weather cleared up, and the sun even started shining.
Anne is a fantastic photographer to work with; she gives excellent guidance and takes my wishes into account. And the result? FANTASTIC!! I'm truly thrilled with the final result, highly recommended!

How do the first steps work?
Once you've booked your photoshoot through the scheduling tool, I'll contact you to discuss any final important points or questions you may have.

My horse or dog is a difficult model or can quickly become tense. What now?
That doesn't matter at all! I have experience with young, active, and easily tense horses and dogs. We'll try something, and if you, your horse, or your dog don't feel comfortable, we'll stop immediately and try something else! I also carry distractions, like a balloon, which can distract your horse or dog. If you want to avoid your horse or dog getting tense, choose a relaxed location for the shoot where you know they'll be relaxed too. Ideally, this would be at the stable or, for the dog, close to home. Be sure to let me know in advance what I should be aware of.

What should you pay attention to during a photo shoot?

Don't wear striped clothes.

Soft colors look best in a photo. Black or dark colors appear harsher.

Make sure your pet is completely ready when I arrive. Preparation is key!

Make sure your pet looks well-groomed. Think about washing and brushing.

Know which sounds your pet finds interesting. I always carry balloons and an umbrella with me to attract extra attention if needed.

You can use my photo halter/lead during the shoot. A photo halter/lead makes it look like your pet is "off leash" (I'll edit the photo halter/lead in Photoshop). Of course, you can also use your own harness or bridle.
I'm not working these away. -
It's helpful if you bring a helping hand to the shoot. They can help you with things like taking things from you, holding your horse or dog for a moment, but most importantly: distracting/calling your animal. They can play sounds, for example, so I can focus on the photos!

And of course, your good mood and cheerfulness, which I also bring with me!

Before the photoshoot
I work with a 50% deposit prior to the photoshoot to secure both of our time. I also include all travel expenses in the invoice. This is €0.30 (including VAT) per km from 3053GV (NL) or 6622 (AT). This invoice must be paid 24 hours before the photoshoot. (For information on canceling a photoshoot, read here ).

After the photoshoot
After we've had a fun and, above all, relaxed photoshoot together, you'll receive the order page with the (unedited) photos within 5 business days. I've selected these based on perspective and sharpness.
This number can vary between 100 and 500 photos. You'll also receive a preview of my favorite photo of you. This photo is available for purchase.
You always have the option to order additional edited photos for €30 per photo.
Once you've selected the photos you'd like edited, I'll send you the remaining invoice. This invoice must be paid first. You'll receive the photos digitally within five weeks of paying the invoice. The album will be shipped to you within one and a half months of paying the remaining invoice.
If your photoshoot takes place in June, July, August, or September, the delivery time will be approximately 6 weeks.
I'll keep you updated on the progress of the editing process. You'll also receive a notification when the edited photos are in a separate folder in your personal gallery, where you can download them in various resolutions. I'll clearly explain how to select them in the email! So don't worry!
Furthermore, I really try to put all the effort and love into your photos, to give you an unforgettable memory!

Just how precious is a memory?

A few years ago, my dogs Shadow and Mac modeled for the first time at a photography workshop. Anne was one of the participants. We met Anne as a super fun, cheerful, and spontaneous girl. After the workshop, we received the photos, and Anne's were beautiful! I didn't really understand why she needed a workshop because her work was already good, haha!
We started following each other on Instagram and Facebook. Over time, Shadow also modeled for Anne for her private workshop. It's always so much fun with her, and she's so sweet to the dogs!
Shadow wasn't the easiest person to get along with, but he absolutely loved Anne.
Shadow got sick, and that's why I wanted a photoshoot with him, so that when he's gone, we'll still have beautiful memories. That's why I wanted a photoshoot with Anne—beautiful photos, not awkward to interact with, and Shadow loved her too!
But this wasn't without some hesitation. It was about the money, because a sick dog already costs a lot at the vet. Ultimately, I made the decision, because I think beautiful photos as memories are so important! We received some gorgeous photos. We went to the beach at sunset. We definitely deserved it because, wow, the result is beautiful!
The photoshoot was so much fun; Anne knows exactly how to guide you so you look beautiful and yourself in the photo with your beloved four-legged friend. This made working with Anne feel very natural. We met at a parking lot, and from there we walked to the beach. It was quite a walk, but Anne is a great chatterbox, so that wasn't a problem at all. This also gave Shadow the chance to get used to her presence. Anne communicates clearly during the shoot, which I really appreciate because it allows me to know what's expected and what's best to do. If she has a good image in her lens, she'll definitely let you know, haha!
The most precious thing, of course, are the beautiful photos I have, mainly of Shadow. Shadow and Mac sadly passed away; within four months, I lost both my friends. This was, and still is, very sad. I look back at the photos every day. To this day, I also find it incredibly sad that we didn't have a private photoshoot with Mac. Unfortunately, Mac was having a lot of trouble with his legs, which made this impossible. He eventually got better, but he was suddenly taken from our lives.
So, if you're planning a photoshoot with your dog, don't hesitate and do it before it's too late. It could be over in an instant...

I'm a horse rider myself and the proud eldest sister of my dog, Saar. That's why I specialize in dog and horse photography. I have an immense love for these animals and love capturing them! Many clients say their pet isn't photogenic or doesn't look good in photos... I don't believe that! I've had a passion for photography my whole life. So when I got my first camera for my 15th birthday, my adventure began. I absolutely hated working for a boss and wanted to use my creativity and do things my own way. I wanted to make a difference and saw a future in photography. Since then, I've been a full-time photographer. Entrepreneurship is no stranger to me; my parents used to own a restaurant, and it didn't stop there... In 2022, I embarked on a big adventure. I moved to Austria with my entire family. I continued my photography in this beautiful country full of indescribable locations. Now, after two years, I'm active in both countries as a horse, dog, and corporate photographer!
Now I alternate life in both countries and can make even more people happy with a magical memory or a professional company report for commercial use.

A holiday memory
Last September, we went on holiday with our Golden Balou for the first time, traveling to Rinnen, Austria, to stay at the beautiful Mountain Lodge. To make our holiday even more special, we booked a photoshoot with Anne. In the run-up to our holiday to beautiful Rinnen, we were lucky enough to get pregnant. We wanted nothing more than to have this surprise captured in a beautiful photo on holiday so we could announce our pregnancy to family and friends after our holiday. When Anne heard about it, she immediately wanted to help us, and we were able to take several beautiful photos during the photoshoot related to our pregnancy. The weather threw a wrench in the works for a while, but Anne and I quickly found a solution and returned to the photoshoot location early the next day to finish the shoot. We were thrilled with the outcome! After our holiday, we received the photos and were absolutely thrilled with the results! Even when announcing our pregnancy with one of the photos, we only received But we received lovely responses. We're so happy we booked a photoshoot with Anne and are very grateful for these beautiful photos as a reminder of this special holiday.

Welke bestanden ontvang ik?Je ziet de JPG bestanden van de foto's in de uitzoek galerij. Dit worden ook wel de 'preview' foto's genoemd voor de klant. Dit zijn de bestanden die de camera maakt hoe die denkt dat de foto juist tot zijn recht komt. Daarnaast schiet ik nog een dubbel bestand. Namelijk NEF foto's. Dit is voor mij de bewerkings bestanden. Bij de levering van de foto's ontvang je altijd het eindresultaat in JPG bestand. Deze bewerkte foto's ontvang je altijd met en zonder logo. Zonder logo is alleen strikt bedoeld voor privé gebruik (zoals een afdruk in je eigen huis ophangen) en met logo is ter alle tijden bedoeld als je hem op social media of dergelijke online platformen gaat plaatsen.

Kan ik de onbewerkte foto's ontvangen?Je kan geen onbewerkte foto's bij mij ontvangen. Ik bewerk de foto's met een reden: mijn stijl toevoegen waar jij mij ook voor boekt. De foto's zijn voor mij zonder de bewerking simpel weg niet klaar. Ik licht vaak het onderwerp eventjes wat op, zodat jullie er mooi uit springen, ik maak de foto ook een stuk warmer en gezelliger en ik zorg dat alle kleuren wat meer in balans zijn. Vaak willen klanten ook nog een paar dingetjes weggewerkt hebben, zoals een elastiekje om de pols, een raar plukje haar of een oortje van hun paard of hond naar voren. Je kiest een professionele fotograaf om hun bewerking stijl en sfeer en niet voor de onbewerkte foto's lijkt mij! Je moet het zo zien, je vraagt een schilder ook niet om alleen de primer op de muur te verven, toch? ;) Daarnaast staan op deze foto's niet mijn logo en kunnen deze op het internet voor de verkeerde doeleinde gebruikt worden. Ik plaats op mijn Instagram ook altijd de foto's met logo's en vraag mijn klanten dit ook te doen.

Kan ik later nog extra foto's bij bestellen?Natuurlijk kan dit. Je foto's blijven bewaard bij mij! Wel loopt je persoonlijke uitzoek galerij af na een maand, maar je kan mij gerust een mailtje sturen met de vraag of ik hem opnieuw wil uploaden.

Mag ik zelf een locatie uitkiezen voor mijn fotoshoot?Jazeker. Je mag zelf een gewenste locatie uitkiezen. Let alleen op de reiskosten die nog bovenop het fotoshoot pakket erbij komen.

Ik wil graag met meerder personen/paarden/honden een fotoshoot boeken.Wat onwijs leuk dat je met meerdere personen of dieren op de foto wilt. Voor een extra tarief van €40 per persoon/dier is dit ook zeker mogelijk. Geef dit bij de boeking ook even aan.

Hoe kan ik de titel van mijn veelgestelde vragen wijzigen?Je kunt de titel bewerken via het tabblad 'Instellingen' in het FAQ-onderdeel in de Editor. Om de titel uit je mobiele app te verwijderen, ga je naar het tabblad 'Site en app' in je Wix owners-app en tik je op 'Aanpassen'.

Waar is je prijs op gebaseerd?Ik heb mijn prijs gebaseerd op de kosten die ik voor de fotografie maak. In de prijs zit een stukje klantencontact, foto's zelf maken, foto's uitzoeken, administratie, het online zetten in een persoonlijke uitzoek galerij, foto's bewerken en uiteindelijk opsturen. Hier komt heel veel uur werk bij kijken. De meeste klanten vergissen zich daar in. Vandaar dat ik hier informatie over deel. Gemiddeld ben ik zo'n 12 uur bezig per shoot.

Ik wil een fotoshoot cadeau geven aan iemand, hoe werkt dat?Zeker! Ik heb een gift card voor de fotoshoots. Vul even op deze pagina het formulier in en dan maak ik het in orde en hebben we even contact over de informatie over de kaart!

Hoe ver van tevoren moet ik de fotoshoot inplannen?Het is aan te raden om minimaal 4 weken van tevoren een fotoshoot te boeken. Wil je graag op korte termijn een fotoshoot? Bijvoorbeeld vanwege ziekte of dat je paard of hond niet lang meer heeft? Dan kan je ten aller tijde gewoon contact opnemen met mij. Ik zal dan altijd mijn uiterste best doen om ergens een plekje voor je te creëren!

Ik moet helaas de fotoshoot afzeggen. Hoe nu verder?Natuurlijk hoor ik dit zo snel mogelijk. Ik kan dan namelijk nog iemand anders op jouw plaats inplannen. Lees voor regels over het afzeggen van een fotoshoot hier.

Ik heb een afspraak gepland staan voor een fotoshoot, alleen voorspellen ze regen...Ik houd gedurende de dagen voorafgaand aan de fotoshoot met de klant nauw contact hierover. We kiezen dan gewoon samen een nieuwe datum uit mocht het weer het niet toelaten.
